I have to say that almost everyone in Colorado is very plesant and friendly. At this medical facility, the animals just walk on by as if nothing. At times, I was hoping that this little guy could sign my petition!

Test - Is it obvious. I am testing the system to blog from my phone. Again, it seems to work, but we will have to see if in fact it does once I am on the road.

Onward Ho!

Onward to Colorado. It seems that I have been chosen to organize in Colorado! I am accepting this opportunity to do so and it only remains to be seen if I will be there for one week or two weeks.

I leave the 4th or 5th of November and we will try to blog directly from there. We shall see how it goes this time.

Tomorrow, I am traveling to the nation's capital on business. SEIU is soliciting the opinions, views, and plans from the Presidential Candidates and I am on the committee to interview said candidates! Granted, the SEIU Committee numbers several hundred, we are doing this to recommend who SEIU will endorse.

The Ice Is Fozen

Yes, that is my quote. In late January, I was assigned to our Palmdale field office and while traveling on Palmdale Blvd. at approximately 7:05 A.M., I looked into the dirt gutter of the south side of Palmdale Blvd. and I noticed the water in the gutter (storm drain - look, it is the desert) had frozen over.

"It is so damn cold - Jose, look, the ice is frozen."

"Yes, Roger, it is."



It was 18 degress in Palmdale that morning.
