The Ice Is Fozen

Yes, that is my quote. In late January, I was assigned to our Palmdale field office and while traveling on Palmdale Blvd. at approximately 7:05 A.M., I looked into the dirt gutter of the south side of Palmdale Blvd. and I noticed the water in the gutter (storm drain - look, it is the desert) had frozen over.

"It is so damn cold - Jose, look, the ice is frozen."

"Yes, Roger, it is."



It was 18 degress in Palmdale that morning.
