Out of retirement!

Don't change the rules. Play the game as it should.

The All-Star Game. Everyone is mumbling about how to fix this blessed event. Stop your complaining. Running out of players? This is the fault of the manager(s). The game is not a beauty contest. Not to long ago, pitchers pitched three innings to start the game and players often did not get into the game. Too bad. Being named to the game is the important thing. The managers are at fault. Play the game to win and you won't run out of players. Funny, this never, ever, ever, ever happened prior to 2002 - No accident that it was under the watch of a "player's manager" - Joe Torre and Bob Brenly. I remember not too long ago that every year, one player on each side played the entire game, obviously a position player. What happened to that? These players are multi-million dollar players. If the game does mean something, then play the game to win.
